If you see a particular custom made skating dress that you would like, we can make you one to order.  For any custom made skating dress we need to allow 6 weeks for production and delivery time.  We can also change any style of dress by putting a different skirt, sleeves, neckline etc..  We will work with you on shorter lengths of time if our production schedule permits.   All ordering is done directly via our email address at ice.excellence@sasktel.net.   You can have any skating dress in any color combination.  The skating dresses start at a base price without crystals and go up from there depending on how decorated you would like the skating dress to be.  The Swarovski crystals are extra at $35.00/gross (144 stones).  Below are examples of custom made skating dresses designed for a particular skater and their music.  Please be advised that dresses may not be duplicated exactly as shown in the following pictures.   Each individual custom dress is unique and some of the color shades will vary from dress to dress, as computer screens represent color differently and we can't promise it will be exact, but will make the dress to the best of our ability to be as close to the dress as pictured.

2009 Styles of Custom Made Ice Skating Dresses



"All That Jazz" Dress
Perfect for any jazz or flapper inspired routine.  It features a fringe skirt
which looks so great on the ice.  It's mature lines can be worn on any
age of skater.  The bodice is made with velvet and a matching holographic
lycra.  It has a sequin belt and crystal belt buckle.  The base price is $185.00
and there are approximately 2 gross of crystals on the dress as pictured.

"Megan" Dress
This dress features an empire waist, sweetheart neckline and flutter sleeves.  It
looks lovely on a younger skater and the judges love how age appropriate it is!
The bodice is in velvet and the skirt, sleeves and chiffon drape on the back
are made from a matching crepe chiffon.  It can be made in a variety of different
colors to match your program.  The base price is $185.00 and there are approximately

"Let the Sun Shine" Dress
This brightly colored dress is sure to please.  It has an empire waist
with a two layer skirt.  The bustline is highlighted by combining both colors
of mesh and is finished off with a beautiful beaded applique.  The dress can be
done in a variety of colors however the applique may need to be changed
due to color availability.  The base price is $175.00 and there are
approximately .75 gross of crystals on the dress as pictured.



"Front Ring Halter" Dress
This dress was designed for a "speed racer" program, however,
it has also been done as a 60's Go-Go dress as well! The base
price is $170.00 and there are approximately 1 gross of crystals
as shown in the picture.



Elegance on Ice
The body of this dress is a fully lined quality white lycra and
the skirt is a white crepe chiffon.  It can be airbrushed in
virtually any color.  All airbrushing is done individually so
every dress is different and unique.  If you want the floral
appliques on the dress, the colors available are lavender,
pink and light blue.  The back is low and highlighted with crossing
30ss Swarvoski crystals.  The base price of this dress is $185.00 (due to

"Phoebie" Dress
This regal dress portrays classic lines with a very elegant overall
look.  A gold metallic applique is incorporated on the front which is
covered with light topaz AB20ss crystals.  It is available in any
color but the overall looks needs to include the gold front panel
and gold mesh.  The base price is $195.00 and there are approximately

"Salsa Dancer"
This eye-catching dress is pictured without Swarvoski crystals so
just imagine how stunning it would be when added.  It can be made in

"Shaelyn" Dress
This dress was made for a program to the theme 'inspector gadget'.  It is made
with black and lime green twilight velvet to give it that extra sparkle.
Swarovski crystals are used to portray the image of a belt around the waist!

Princess Dress
This sweet dress is perfect for any romantic inspired routine.  The bodice of the sample
dress was made with light blue twilight velvet with a double layer chiffon skirt and sleeves.
Nude mesh was used at the shoulders to give the illusion of dropped sleeves.  The back
gives the illusion of it being laced up.  A judge favorite for sure!  The base price  is $185.00.

Can-Can Dress
This lively dress was designed for a can-can routine, however, it could be used
for any upbeat number with a change of color!  It has halter styling and a triple

This dress features an asymetrical seam which goes diagonially down the front
to create a dramatic look on the ice.  This dress was done with black velvet and
periwinkle twilight velvet.  It has also been done in black and bronze for an even

"Tribal" Dress
This modern dress was inspired by a tribal piece of music.  It seems like more and more
skaters are using modern pieces of music and this design could easily be adapted without
the arm band and with a different color scheme.  It presents a very dramatic look on the ice

Kimono Dress
This Asian inspired dress is simply a work of art.  Made of three contrasting
lycras which give the illusion of a traditional wrapping Kimono.  The beautiful
part of this dress is the white floral appliques which decorate the front, back
and sleeves of the dress.  Swarovski crystals are then used to further embellish

This darling skating dress can be used for a variety of music selections.  It suits the younger skater perfectly and is a judges favorite.  It can be custom made in any color velvet you like and either have a lace skirt or matching velvet skirt.  This skating dress was custom made for a "Sound of Music" medley.  The base price is $185.00.   The picture shows approximately 1-2 gross of crystals added.

Celeste Skating Dress
This skating dress is made with your choice of milliskin matte lycra and has a double layer mesh skirt.   It has a princess neckline with 3/4 length sleeves.  The sleeves are finished with a matching flounce to match the skirt.   This style of skating dress could be used for any elegant program!  The base price is $170.00.



Britney Skating Dress
This skating dress was designed for a skater who wanted an off the shoulder skating dress but wanted to be able to wear a bra under it.   The left shoulder is stretch mesh which is adorned on the top with Swarovski Crystals.   The material used for this dress was a black velvet with a floral glitter pattern.  The overall look is quite striking!  The base price is $170.00.

Spanish Dancer Skating Dress

How to Measure

Please email the following information:  1.  Bust - chest measurement taken with a deep breath, arms held out at shoulder height 2.  Waist - taken at the natural waistline 3.  Hip - taken around the fullest part of the buttocks 4.  Torso - taken from the center of the shoulder, down the front, through the crotch, and up the back to the starting point.  Have the skater stand tall but relaxed 5.  Skirt placement - either measure a dress you like laying flat from under the arm to where the skirt hits the bodice or measure under the arm to where you want the skirt to be attached to the dress.  Young girls usually are between 7-9" with older girls being 11-13" This measurement is extremely important! 6.  Arm measurement - shoulder to wrist 7.  Bicep measurement - taken at center of bicep 8.  Wrist 9.  Skirt length 10.  Do you want a sleek fit?   Perfectly snug fit for a competitive look. Most Coaches prefer it this way.  OR 11.  Do you want a comfortable fit?  Slight room for growth (order one size larger).  This may cause gapping in the back of the dress but make the dress wearable for a longer time. 12.  Do you have any major manufacturer dresses like GK or Sharene.  If you do what size do you wear?  That also helps with the sizing. It is better to measure the skater with a leotard or skating dress on.   All dresses are made to your specific measurements so this process is important. ***In addition to the above measurement information, I will need you to provide me with a credit card #, expiry date, 3 digit # on back and the name and mailing address of the cardholder.  I will also need the shipping address if different than the mailing address.  Nothing will be charged to your card until one week prior to shipment.*** Please email ice.excellence@sasktel.net  if you have any questions.  There are no refunds or exchanges on custom made skating dresses.

 Shipping Information:
We ship all of our dresses via USPS Ground Mail. The cost to ship is $15.00 in the United States. If the dress is to be shipped internationally we need to know the country of destination and we will quote shipping from there.   Also, custom made dresses being shipped outside the United States may have custom, duty and tax charges added, as well as delays in shipping time.  For all Canadian orders please allow an additional two weeks for delivery time in case the dress gets held in customs.
